Upon seeing the below in Elle Decor and subsequently scanning his portfolio, I quickly realized that Shawn Henderson is my kind of designer! Shawn, where have you been all my life? This particular project, the NYC home of NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson, blends mid-century furniture, luxe materials, and a neutral palette for sophisticated results. It's so cosmo, yet comfortable enough to simply hang out and enjoy the view. Yep, this place is just my speed (pun intended).

Though primarily a self-taught decorator, Desiré studied at The Art Institute, where she honed a distinct aesthetic largely influenced by the Modern Glamour movement, the theme of her popular design blog, Sukio.
