Interiors: Madrid Apartment by Luis Puerta
I think we can all agree that the Spanish have a real knack for mixing modern and traditional. Take this apartment by Luis Puerta, a home where classic columns and reproductions coexist with contemporary artwork, furniture, and kitchen cabinetry. White walls seem to be the unifying factor, flowing from room to room, and, along with strategically-placed mirrors, ensure natural light is maximized. Of course, I must mention the floors, herringbone pine. How very, very pretty. I think I'm in love.
