"My personal taste definitely leans toward traditional, but I love how things like artist-made furniture can make you look with new eyes at antique pieces in a room," says Keith Johnson of the home he shares with his husband, Glen Senk. It's a sentiment that can be seen everywhere, contemporary art and artisanal handiwork mingling with traditional furniture and architecture. His aesthetic is most likely inspired by many years of world travel/antique-hunting (Keith was buyer-at-large for Anthropologie) – super eclectic, surprisingly whimsical, with the occasional moment of glamour.

Desiré Greene
Desiré is a designer, blogger, and lover of all things glamorous. Though primarily a self-taught decorator, Desiré studied at The Art Institute, where she honed a distinct aesthetic largely influenced by the Modern Glamour movement, the theme of her popular design blog, Sukio. Not only is she considered a "closet fashionista," discreetly stashing handbags and shoes whenever possible, but, as an MIT graduate, she’s also an undercover nerd. Fashion, nerdom, and several years as a Washingtonian have combined to shape her unique perspective on interior design.
