Here's yet another fabulous project from our friends to the south, and much like a past feature, it shows the vast possibilities of a limited color palette. In just six weeks, designer James Dawson completely transformed this Brisbane apartment, renovating every inch right down to the doorknobs. I'm absolutely smitten by the non-kitchen, with its chic cabinetry, mirrored island, and psychedelic ceiling.

James applied the same high-contrast treatment to the bathroom and hallway. As with the kitchen, striped wallpaper was meticulously cut and pieced together, adding loads of drama to a relatively small space. Behold the power of innovative thinking! And the doorknobs are pretty fab, too.
