Friday Fashion: The Golden Globes' Best Dressed

Lupita Nyong'O, Golden Globes Red Carpet

I tried to approach this task in a fair and impartial manner without any predispositions, biases, or favorites. I tried to fight it. I really did. But I simply adored Lupita Nyong'o's red carpet look on Sunday - a fiery red, capped gown by Ralph Lauren with Fred Leighton jewelry and Paul Andrew pumps. I dare say it was pure, red carpet perfection! Although with that face, figure, and smile, she could wear just about anything and be dubbed best dressed.

Lupita's hair was inspired by none other than Grace Jones. Her makeup, Elizabeth Taylor and Vivien Leigh as Cleopatra.

It's Super Lupita. Soar, girl. Soar!

Honorable mentions include Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé (really loved this look), Margot Robbie in Gucci, and surprisingly but I don't know why, Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta. Feel free to chime in.
