30-Day Instagram Challenge: My #ModernGlamour Takeover

Sukio's #ModernGlamour Instagram Challenge

Several weeks back, I realized that Instagram is quickly becoming the new Tumblr–i.e., feeds filled with inspiration from here and there, not necessarily a smartphone's camera lens. And so, I began to experiment. I knew I had to slowly get into the swing of things. I rarely (read "never") opened the app, let alone posted to it, so reviewing my feed on a semi-regular basis seemed like a good start.

Baby Step 1: Open the app. Check!

To my amazement, the visual candy was plentiful. I started liking photos and sharing them via Tumblr:

Do I know @naseebs personally? No, but I'm gonna like her Swiss vacation pic anyway.

@modaoperandi posts pic of incredibly cute shoes. I'm gonna like that too!

Introducing Sukio's #ModernGlamour Instagram Challenge

Now that I've mastered the "double-tap," I'm ready to become a full-fledged Instagrammer. For the next 30+ days, I'm posting glamorously delicious photos to my Instragram feed. That's right! I'm transforming my stream from a sad amalgamation of.... other into a highly-curated collection of inspiring imagery. My tag of choice: #modernglamour. After all, it's what I love, and no one seems to be really using it anyway.

Wish me luck!
