Next month's Vogue shares a few pics of Tamara Mellon's newly renovated apartment. I absolutely loved the old design by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. So, I was relieved to see the space exudes a similar vibe, just fresher.

Designer Michael Adams incorporated some of my favorite mid-century modern pieces, like this Warren Platner dining set. The "Love for Eternity" light installation is a carryover from Tamara's art collection. I just hope she kept her fabulous ram's head desk. Fingers crossed!

Though primarily a self-taught decorator, Desiré studied at The Art Institute, where she honed a distinct aesthetic largely influenced by the Modern Glamour movement, the theme of her popular design blog, Sukio. Not only is she considered a "closet fashionista," discreetly stashing handbags and shoes whenever possible, but, as an MIT graduate, she’s also an undercover nerd. Fashion, nerdom, and several years as a Washingtonian have combined to shape her unique perspective on interior design.
