I have a love affair with green and this design by Celerie Kemble reminds me why. It’s fresh and sophisticated, glam and modern. Yes, I DO love it, not to mention her clever use of multiples and delicious design choices (I’m talking green, velvet tufting, folks). So, what do you think? Is green glam? or blue’s ugly stepchild?

Interiors: Chic Retreat…

The blogosphere is buzzing with pics of this office/retreat by Amy D. Morris for the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House. Notice the black walls and Kelly-Wearstler-esque design choices. Right on! I also love the little Jonathan Adler side table, which I hope to make available at my shop (orrrr simply buy for my pad and cherish forever).

A big thanks to Blair of Delight by Design for turning me on to this glamorous space. It made my day! I can only hope that similar risk taking (i.e., bronze sea urchins and plexiglass) will be sprinkled about in the upcoming DC Design House. A girl can dream.

P.S. - Wondering if you can ever go wrong with a zebra print porter’s chair.

Interiors: Purple Pied-à-Terre...

Marcelo Lucini’s Apartment, Buenos Aires. I’m especially tickled by the gorgeous tufted sofa. It looks like the perfect place to sip tea and read the latest issue of Elle Decor while listening to Earth, Wind & Fire (Perhaps, “Devotion”).

Oh, and living in Buenos Aires wouldn’t be so bad either.
