Friday Fashion: Desert Beauty

I'm in absolute awe of this editorial for Grazia UK! So beautiful. Posing in the Vietnamese desert, model Marcelina Sowa channels the beauty of North Africa in fashions by Givenchy, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin and others. So, why Vietnam and not the Sahara? Not sure but the results are gorgeous.

Friday Fashion: Still Fierce

I know I'm partial, but the super models of my youth are nothing less than fabulous. They are still gorgeous, still working, and still fierce. I get giddy everytime I see one in a new editorial or fashion campaign. Here's Naomi Campbell for Antidote and Kate Moss for Vogue UK. Twenty years later and as awesome as ever!

2012 Met Gala Fave

Well, perhaps, not my absolute favorite, but this Donna Karan Atelier dress is pretty close. Unlike last year's best-dressed choice, this look is less goth and more glam. Nina Dobrev looks absolutely gorgeous!

Friday Fashion: A "Dream" Office by Catherine Kwong

Today's Friday Fashion post brings you another example of fashion and design harmonizing like my favorite Bee Gees song. Designer Catherine Kwong created this glamorous home office for the 2012 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. Her inspiration: the fashion bloggers of the Bay Area.

...San Francisco is full of incredible fashion bloggers who have a unique perspective on the latest trends. With this type of writer in mind, I set out to create a dream office — complete with pinup boards for tear sheets and look books and, of course, a custom closet to display a truly inspirational wardrobe. - C.K.

You've probably seen the pics circulating about the Internet, but I just had to share! The space is gorgeous but a little sparse. I personally would add some visitor's chairs so I can chat with my gal pals about how fabulous life is. And perhaps, a reading nook to peruse all of my awesome fashion tomes (or stare at my handbag collection. whichever).
