« Interiors: David Mann Adds Luster and Light to a Manhattan Duplex »
Desiré |
8.2.2012 Lacking adequate natural light, designer David Mann incorporated lustrous finishes and reflective surfaces throughout this New York City home. Mann's touches include Venetian-plaster walls with ground mica, polished onyx floors, lots of mirror, and metallic upholstery.

Shagreen-backed cube chairs, Murano-glass lamps, and a silk shag rug in the living room. The mantel is sheathed in gold-leafed glass tile and the dining area's feature wall is covered in antique mirror.

Above: An Hervé Van der Straeten pendant light, brass-and-silver railing, and gray onyx floors in the entrance hall. A salon-style, photo display in the breakfast area. Below: Mirror tile in the bedroom and Sicis glass-mosaic tile in the master bath. So glam.
