Zac Posen upped the glamour ante with his latest collection for Pre-Fall 2013. If I had some enchanted holiday ball to attend this weekend, I’d most definitely pick one of these curve-hugging gowns. The collection is all about drama, or in Zac’s words, "Maria Callas going to Argentina."

Posen used the words anatomical and architectural to describe the season. He approaches his designs almost like an architect would, adding fiber optics to organza and tulle, for example, so that the lightweight fabrics hold their extravagant volumes. – Nicole Phelps, Style.com
